Your inspiration doesn’t always come from a place of like.  “Early” was this week’s Illustration Friday theme.  It could have just as easily been, “Late.”  I would have produced the same piece.

I dedicate this one to my upstairs neighbors, who I love to hate.  There are a couple rules to apartment living, and I think consideration for your neighbors should be at the top of the list.

Not only do they have a humongous pit bull (which I’m pretty sure is a restricted breed), but it believes it is a race horse and stampedes around the apartment like it’s trying to win the Triple Crown.  While I am a dog lover, this thing has no sense of its size and is constantly knocking their furniture over which means there are these loud and startling crashes above my head.

Aside from that main issue I think the guy is training to be a techno d.j.  At normal times of the day, I would have no problem with techno or electronica.  Hell, if it weren’t for the fact that I like to be well-rested and productive at work I’d probably put on my heels and get in a dance workout.

Since talking to them has produced little results, I’ve taken to the blog.  Moral of the story: If you live in an apartment, be considerate of your neighbors!

Amen. Pit bulls CAN be sweet, but clompers, electronica and techno cr*p should be limited to headphonts or muffled rooms.

Sorry, chica. You know I love me some dogs, but that would get on my nerves. At 94lbs, I’m not even really thrilled when I hear Dolly lumbering around at night.

I LOVE dogs, but these people know good and well they should have requested a first floor apartment. Time to get out my tennis balls, and set the alarm for 3 a.m. See how they like it.
